MASAI MARA

The Masai or Maasai Mara Game Reserve is where everything is still big, beautiful plains, rolling hills all around and wildlife in the numbers of a century ago. It is a truly amazing place to go on safari and the Maasai Mara is one of Kenya's finest wildlife parks. Going there is truly an amazing experience which will stay with you for the rest of your life.

We run trips to the Masai Mara to cater for your safari needs. Below is an example 3 day trip but we run safaris for as long as you require.

Example Safari Itinerary to the Maasai Mara

3 DAY TRIP

Day 1

The Masai Mara is a  240 km drive, through the Loita Plains. This will take you “country that will make your mouth water” (Robert Ruark). You will arrive in time for lunch and then have time to relax in your chosen lodge or tented camp. An evening game drive will start at 1600 hours.

 Day 2

Start the day with an early pre-breakfast two hours game viewing. Then head back to the Lodge or camp for a luxury breakfast. After breakfast head deep into the Mara to the famous Mara river. This is where the great migration takes place. Have lunch by the river and take a walk around the shores with a ranger. Slowly work your way back to the lodge or camp through different paths and routes where you will stumble across many different animals. Return to the lodge or camp for your evening meal.

Day 3

Early morning game drives before you leave for Nairobi after breakfast.
