NAIROBI
Nairobi is Kenya's capital and biggest city. Like any large city it is complete with sky scrapers and top hotels. There are many different excursions you can take in Nairobi including a safari in the National Park to visiting Karen Blixen's house, made famous by the film Out of Africa.

NAIROBI CITY TOUR – 3 HOURS
We take you for a familiarisation tour of the city of Nairobi. Visiting parliament buildings where we find the burial grounds of the First President of Kenya, the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, the International Conference grounds, the railways museum or the National museum and Snake Park.
NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK – 4 HOURS
The 24- square-kilometer-park is conveniently close to (within?) the city of Nairobi, yet it remains a completely natural environment for wild animals. At the main entrance of the Park is the Animal Orphanage Safari Walk,founded in 1963 to care for young wild animals found deserted and unable to fend for themselves and to treat injured wild animals. These animals are later released to the park.
A must visit for visitors on a short stay in Nairobi.
NGONG HILLS EXCURSION–4 HOURS
Ngong hills, a favourite destination of Nairobi residents on weekend afternoons, are just 30 Km. From the city. The hills stick out like the knuckles of a closed fist and the highest of the Ngong is at 8,074 ft. The view from the top is incomparable. You then descend to the Maasai Village. Introduction to the Maasai culture and inspect the manyatta (village). Depart late afternoon for the City.
BOMAS OF KENYA - 3 HOURS
Bomas of Kenya is a showcase of the vast culture of the Kenyan People. A guide to the various villages then watch traditional dances performed in the arena. Time of visit is from 2pm on weekdays and 3pm on weekends.
THE DAVID SHELDRICK TRUST/ MAMBA VILLAGE – 3HOURS
David Sheldrick Trust provides veterinary assistance to animals in need. An important project of the trust is the rescue, hand rearing and rehabilitation of elephants & rhino orphans. It opens for one hour – from 11am to 12noon. You will have the opportunity to touch and feed the elephants calves. We then proceed to the Mamba (crocodile) village, home of crocodiles and ostriches. Fishing and boat rides can be organized here at an extra cost.
KAREN BLIXEN MUSEUM/GIRAFFE CENTRE - 3 HOURS
The Karen suburb, green, spacious, and elite, was once a 6,000-acre
coffee
estate of Baroness Karen von Blixen-Finecke; who farmed it from 1914 to
1931. She wrote the famous “Out of Africa”. Karen Blixen museum is the
beautiful old colonial house she used to live in.
Five kilometres from Karen house is the giraffe centre; where Mr. and
Mrs.
Melville successfully reared the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Visitors
can now feed the tame giraffes and warthogs.
GOLF
If you want to bring your clubs with you Nairobi has a number of very nice golf courses. We can organize a whole day round of golf at one of the exclusive golf clubs in Nairobi. Lunch is included.
